Description/Blazon
The background is adapted from the California State flag, on the red band is the inscription "191st ARMY BAND."  Displayed is the distinctive unit insignia worn by the unit between a dark blue scroll inscribed "THE BAND OF THE WILD WEST" in white at top; three dark blue bands inscribed with white letters, "ROME-ARNO" to the lower right, "NORTH APENNINES" below, and "PO VALLEY" to the lower left, indicating the campaign credit for WWII service and below a red, yellow, and black band representing the Army Superior Unit Award earned by the unit.
